The Krewe of Caesar Explores the World of Video Games as it Presents
for its 2009 theme.
The Krewe of Caesar welcomes American Idol runner-up David Archuleta as Grand Marshal for 2009 on the B97 float along with mid-day talent and Program Director, Thomas “Jammer” Naylor. Archuleta was the runner-up on the previous season of American Idol, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes. His self-titled debut album, which was released in November 2008, debuted at the number two spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
On Saturday February 14,2009 at 6:00pm the parade rolled down the Traditional Metairie parade route for its 30th Parade.
